This past Sunday marked Easter and Cesar Chavez Day. At SEACA we commemorate the labor leader with a staff holiday.
However, for the past several months, we’ve been doing what we believe is a truer celebration: organizing.
These past months, our staff, members, and volunteers have been working hard talking to hundreds of residents and small business owners in Cantonese, Vietnamese, Khmer, Spanish, and English about our campaigns, hosting phone banking parties to engage City officials in our work, and getting out the vote for the March elections.
There is still a lot of work to be done, but hopefully, he would approve.
